The Last Sermon

The last sermon in the Fourth First Parish Church on the hill in Ipswich was preached on February 22, 1846 by Rev. David T. Kimble, pastor of the church since 1807.  He was to retire soon after.  The interesting part of this sermon are the names mentioned, the history of the church and the enumeration of the ownership of the pews.  I am adding a Table of Contents to the sermon to point out these areas and to break it up.  I am also including a directory to pictures of the church in its various time periods.  None of these were included in the original publication.  Because some may get bored I have also added a number of links to this page just so you can get out.
